For the Maison Peter Langner, Chiara and Carlo’s wedding story is much more than the story of a wedding.
It is the sincere and emotional story of two dear friends of Peter and his husband Gaetano. A story built over the years through proximity, mutual respect and affection, gradually growing into something even more precious.
Among the rolling hills of Monferrato, Bosco delle Amarene — Peter and Gaetano’s beautiful country estate near Acqui Terme — lies just a few hundred meters from Chiara and Carlo’s home. Nearby houses, intertwined lives, and a deep friendship built on shared moments, simplicity and trust.
When Carlo proposed to Chiara, choosing her wedding gown was the most natural decision in the world.
There was never any doubt.
Chiara entrusted herself to her friend Peter.
Villa Ottolenghi: An Authentic Celebration in the Heart of Monferrato
Chiara and Carlo chose Villa Ottolenghi, near Acqui Terme, as the setting for their wedding celebration.
Its proximity to home certainly played a role in their decision, but what truly captured their hearts was the unique character of the estate: a place rich in history and art, surrounded by nature and defined by a strong architectural identity.
It immediately felt like the perfect setting for their wedding — elegant, authentic and free from any unnecessary formality.
The ceremony took place within the Villa itself, with an intimate gathering attended only by family members and a few close friends. A private and meaningful moment that naturally evolved, a few hours later, into a joyful celebration.
No formalities. No rigid rules.
Just the desire to share their happiness with the people they love most.

Ginger: The Couture Gown Chosen by Chiara
Knowing Peter personally, Chiara never truly considered any alternative for her wedding gown.
Choosing a Peter Langner creation had been a certainty from the moment Carlo proposed.
And yet, the story behind Ginger was less predictable than one might imagine.
Chiara had never envisioned herself in a traditional white wedding gown.
She had only a few clear ideas, but one absolute certainty: she wanted to place herself completely in the hands of Peter and Gaetano.
She still remembers the afternoon spent at the Milan showroom on Via Bigli.
She had only one reference in mind: a beautiful evening gown from the Ethereal Garden collection, in a delicate champagne shade, paired with an orange tulle cape embellished with the Maison’s iconic “little parcels” workmanship — one of the most recognizable elements of Peter Langner’s creative language.
It was a design she had loved from the very beginning.
She tried on four gowns, each more beautiful than the last.
But when she stepped into the white version of the gown she had always admired, her eyes lit up. The same happened to her mother, her sister and Arianna, her lifelong friend and maid of honour, who were by her side during the fitting.
It was then that Gaetano, with the affection and sensitivity of someone who had long become much more than a friend, suggested transforming that inspiration into a true bridal gown.
And so, Ginger was born.
A precious couture creation that perfectly reflects Chiara’s personality and Peter Langner’s timeless aesthetic.
The strapless silhouette gently follows the body, enhancing femininity with understated elegance.
The true protagonist of the gown is the extraordinary workmanship that embellishes the tulle: the iconic “little parcels”. Each element is handmade from layers of silk chiffon folded four times onto themselves and enriched with delicate crystal accents.
Each individual element is then hand-embroidered onto the tulle, creating a refined degradé effect that gradually fades from the bodice down to the lower part of the gown.
The train comes alive with small tulle and chiffon petals, also entirely hand-applied and embroidered, bringing movement, dimension and remarkable lightness to the design.
An extraordinary expression of craftsmanship that makes Ginger a truly unique gown.
A delicate Peter Langner veil completed the look, accompanying the richness of the embroidery with effortless elegance.
More than an appointment at the atelier, choosing the gown became a moment shared among friends.
Peter and Gaetano guided Chiara throughout the entire process, helping her find the most authentic version of herself.
For Chiara, trusting them came naturally.
For Peter and Gaetano, accompanying her on such an important occasion was a true honour.
A Shared Emotion
The experience did not involve Chiara alone.
Her mother and Arianna also chose Peter Langner for their gowns, making the journey even more meaningful and shared.
The bride’s mother wore a custom-made strapless gown with clean lines, created in a sophisticated grey shade enriched with elegant petrol green accents. A hand-embroidered bodice illuminated the décolleté, while a matching stole completed the look with timeless elegance.
Arianna, Chiara’s lifelong friend, chose a Peter Langner Evening creation from the Ethereal Garden collection: style 22006, an A-line gown with a square neckline crafted in refined Vichy jacquard.
Peter and Gaetano personally accompanied all of them through the fittings and selections, and even shared the excitement of the wedding morning preparations.
“It was a unique, intense and also very joyful moment,” recalls Peter. “Dressing the bride and the people closest to her is always a privilege. Doing so for friends makes everything even more meaningful.”

A Celebration Fully Lived
Chiara and Carlo had one simple wish: to fully enjoy their wedding day.
Laughing, dancing and sharing every moment with the people they love.
For this reason, choosing their photographer also came naturally.
They entrusted the memories of the day to Marco Guastalla, fashion photographer, longtime collaborator of Peter Langner and a friend whom they had come to know and appreciate over the years.
His spontaneous, authentic and discreet eye proved to be the perfect choice to capture smiles, emotions and genuine moments.
A Day to Share
More than a celebration, Chiara and Carlo’s wedding was a day to share with their two beautiful children and with the people who matter most.
And among them, Peter and Gaetano.
Because some friendships, with time, become family.
